Most interesting result of the day? Its a draw this weekend, looking at both the top and bottom of the table

Everton 3 – Manchester United 1

Everton have pulled of a fantastic yet unexpected win, and have breathed new life into the race for the title. With Arsenal winning and shortening the gap between 2nd and 3rd, the end of season scramble for the first position looks to be warming up. The score today reminds us that there is no definite outcomes in football, and there is still everything to play for.

Looking towards the bottom of the table, second result of the day has to be

Portsmouth 1 – Stoke 2

Portsmouth are suffering heavily both on and off the pitch. This is a club which could fail to exist by the first week of March, yet they are battling on the pitch. Their fans can only be gutted tonight to lose their grip on a vital point in the last few moments of the match. Stoke will be delighted to take 3 points, sitting quite comfortably tonight in 11th place and the can have one eye on looking towards planning their next Premier League campaign.
